Creating compelling content through inspired story telling, visual concepts, and user experience.

I grew up in a creative household in the culturally progressive city of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Under the watchful eye of my designer mother, I was frequently schooled in the creative vision of luminaries like Keith Haring, Basquiat, and Warhol.

With an appreciation for creativity, my passion for unique cultures lead me to an interest in skateboarding at an early age. Skateboarding opened me up to a new way of looking at the world and inspired a lifelong passion for design, music, art and street culture.

This inspired my creative form and eventually lead me to a career as a culture and lifestyle journalist, and has informed my work in both the editorial and commercial world. I became obsessed with how brands live online and in print, through both media and commercial channels, and became immersed in the world of cultural and brand identity.

For the last five years, I have been working in both the creative agency and editorial world allowing my expertise in culture and niche lifestyle markets to inform my commercial work. Through innovative storytelling, user experience, informed copy, and creative direction I've helped brands tell their story and build brand loyalty. I've done this through both freelance projects and in-house for multiple digital agencies.

I'm always looking for new and exciting editorial, full-time, and freelance commercial projects and opportunities. I'm also currently working on a number of personal projects including a creative zine, screenplay, and producing independent video projects.
